Game Log 1: Experience

Use the following questions as a reference for your documentation. Feel free to edit the format.
How would you describe your game?
The game creates awareness of two EU values: Equality and freedom. We want to create that awareness by making the players realize that they can accomplish more by working together to reach a goal everyone shares.
What decisions have been made so far in regards to:
- Engagement of the game with the theme
The players will have to try to travel along broken roads or travel with broken vehicles due to the floods as they've been seperated due to the same floods.
- Engagement of the game with EU values
We want to create awareness of two EU values: Equality and freedom. The first one was chosen because we want to make people recognize eachother's values. The second value was chosen because of geographical differences in the Netherlands. We want to let players take those differences into account when making choises during the game.
- Inspiration from the collection and kick-off
On the photo's we were given, we saw people being isolated after the floods and working together to get together again and to rebuild.
How did you come to these decisions?
- Share any pictures from your game making process.
- Describe how the design methods such as the canvas helped your game making process.
It was a good way of thinking how the game will work and how it will play into the EU values. It also helped in thinking about details.
What are your action points for the day?
Work out how exactly the game will look and be played.
